Default NEW revised in-game forum

ok ok i know my last thread abotu this was kind of bad so here's my new idea for in-game forums:

as before you have to press f BUT instead of the game popping up it's own forums , it will activate this thing that makes a tab that's url is on:

www.guildwarsguru.com/forum

so you wouldn't have to go open up an internet browser and go to guru and click on guru forums e.t.c to go on the forums

the game will get you to the guru wars forums itself

YYAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!

So basically what you're asking for is an in-game web browser? I doubt it'll be implemented, but it'd be cool if there was one.

In-game GW wiki reference for the win!

Just press the lil square and play in windowed mode, alt+tab/mouse click tasbar when you need to.

Just saved ANet time and money that they can use on better things.

Technically you're right Lampshade.
On the other hand (in my case at least) the game becomes a bit choppy gameplaywise when in window mode.

Regarding the ingame forum.
While this sopunds like a good idea it's very hard to actually implement such things.
Not sure how many games have an ingame browser but from the few i know i remember it not being such a great asset.

If you want the dev team maybe call it skill balancing needed, instead of Nerf.
Seems like ms. Gaile is not to found of the word.

On the other hand I think some sereus skillbalance is in progress ATM hopfully for the better.

So im going to wait with my comments to after the Beta event, as Dev team have "Promised" too look at the feedback then, I dont want to be a ordenary Nerf Crier, but give a good reason for why the skill would need Balancing.

OK.

What does this have to do with an in game forum/browser?

Anet couldn't link to any one fansite's forums, that would be showing a bias towards one fansite over another.

I suggest this to be locked. You should of just edit your previous post and bump it up instead of making a new one.

/signed for the in-game browser. Eve Online managed to implement one, so it shouldn't be that big a deal. If Guild Wars is meant to "Reward player skill, not time spent playing," an in-game browser would certainly help that.

Eve-Online did this (except it's only constricted to their website). So since I don't think ANET will make their own web browser and they'll definitely not choose one in particular because people use different things.
But they can update their own website and have a much easier time just putting that up.
It's a cool idea if they add things in like public chatting rooms, maps, etc.
/signed, but on my own accord
